We have some very, uncommonly, dishonest actors, involved in obvious underhandedness, and the fact that such behavior has not generated a citizens time out, a country wide sanity check, a house cleaning with dozens of sweeping indictments, or even as much as a semi-unanimous moral outrage, suggests just how fucked up and crazy the state of things are.
